So I have planned this deck out better than most of my other decks, even though it may not look like it. For the most part, it works pretty well. Sacrifice is in there for the hope of using Brigadier-General Patterson's noon action twice a turn.
There isn't a strategy to the deeds besides control points and GR production, none of them specifically help out the deck at all. The Courthouse, as I said, is just guaranteed CP because only Law Dogs can move there. I couldn't resist putting such a dick move in there, its an instinct from my Magic: The Gathering days.
If anyone has any input, advice, thoughts, criticism, etc., please let me hear it.
Oh yea, on a side note, the name Eighty Acres of Hell is the nickname of Camp Douglas, a Union run Confederate Prison Camp where about 6000 Confederate's died.
EDIT 5/20: Added The Taskmaster and pulled out Full Moon

Im not a fan of dixie rails, and though I cant really give u a good advice for the deck overall, but starting with 3 influence seems a bit risky. Against decks that seek a quik win, u make them even faster. :O sioux first turn burial ground/curse = ouch for example. YOu could replace army of the dead with ure camille sinclair so u got 4 influence. Army of the dead seems kinda useless anyway. (I know Rich Carter has it in his deck, but with Lynch mob any cheap dude with 0 upkeep is of course usefull)
I like the idea if u only wanna control the cps having the 4 tequillas for some movement denial. Maybee add a shortcut or get off my land to strengthen this idea.
With general only winged em I guess u wanna try keeping all ure dudes out and return em over and over. Since u put in mostly low value dudes it seems like alot of fun with the raising dead. Maybee a 2nd take ya with me isntead of the who are you again helps u more in this way. Id even replace the deputize with another TYWM. Guess thats only here for northroop who is with 1 upkeep very afordable (u should mention thats the exp version).
Guess the big players will give u better advice, but since not so much activity on the forums recently, I try to help out when im sure its usefull. |

Thanks for the advice.
I don't think I'll be taking out Who Are You, Again? because it makes thing so much easier for Ezzie XD
I just got back from a game where I used this deck, and WAYA + Mr. Bones + Ezzie won me the game. I used WAYA to take out a 2 inf. Dude, Mr. Bones to get it back, and the next shootout I was able to use it again, leaving my buddy with 1 influence to my 4 control points.
Not to mention, I didn't have a single dude in Boot Hill |

Revised TR:DR deck. It runs Ace-7 heavy for BGP with a few "acceptable risks" as Madscience calls them. Did the math, 80.98% of the deck falls in the Ace-7 category (not including Starting Posse).
Haven't had a chance to run it (or my new Sweetrock deck) against other decks though, but I have a feeling I'll be doing better in shootouts and pulls, and just in general. Some cards are throwaway filler.
Please let me know if this is a good idea, strategy, or if I'm setting up for disaster and slaughter. Thanks again!

Possible new Starting Posse:
3S Camille Sinclair
8S Sergeant Sean Slade
9S Rex Handlen
9S Los Ojos Del Dios
10S Ezzie
16 spent, 1 upkeep, only 3 influence though. It's hard to get to 4 influence without losing all 3 production. _________________ I'm looking for any Law Dogs, both dudes and homes. If you've got some and are willing to sell or trade, please PM me. |

Could start with:
Far-Away Fred (4/0) 1 Inf
Cassandra (3/0) 1 Inf
Ezzie (5/0) 0 Inf
Camille Sinclair (3/0) 1 Inf
15 Spent 0 Upkeep 3inf
Plus another dude with inf. Charlie, Cassidy, or Mr Bones are options.
That will give you 4 Inf total.
You could start Maurice Foster instead of Fred for the same cost to get an extra inf.
Cheers,
Korhil |
