so, in the aftermath of the KublaCon Melee in the Maze, I have the challenge before me to build a viable Original home Agency deck.

I will be using this space to chronicle my progress - which is none so far.

I figure that I have two options
1 - play the home as essentially blank, unless my opponent want to provide me with tasty terrors of meritorious value.
2 - or I pack stinky trickery to make other folks dudes into terrors, and tear (pun intended) them up that way.

plan 1 seems smarter. Plan 2 is more my style. I need to check the big collection and make sure I have the needed cards for plan 2, if not, then plan 1 is automatic.

aside from Requiem and Madman's Secret, (Bloody Face will not work), my first thought might be to set Lillith up for Embezzlement, then take 'er out with Cort Williams (somehow) - bonus points for Inspiration!

the trickiest bit will be doing it in a shootout, as it can take a whole deck plan alone to force a shootout, let alone a complication such as 'abomitable transmutation'. because no shootout = no VP = no style.

less complicated -
just need:
irrefusable callouts
+ cheap value 7+ terrors
+ Embezzlement
+ You Goin' somewhere?

Quote:
Reaction: Play when a Dude moves out of a location. Boot one of your Dudes at the same location to cancel the move. Any costs of the move (such as booting) remain paid.

unless You Goin' Somewhere? can cancel the refusing of a call out.

waiting for two action cards, using an outfit that lacks cycling, is like waiting for the stars to align. it'll be painful enough to wait around for the Embezzlement. fortunately, starting Delilah Darby-Scorne, with or without her Blue Jeans, achieves the same combo effect...

(i presume that her ability, a Reaction, triggers after movements costs have been paid, even if it doesn't explicitly say so)

i think a clutch piece here as well is the fact that Embezzlement is an Ace, which can allow you to stack Ace's and hopefully pull them in the event you ace a harrowed in a shootout.

...which leaves open the possibility of a Dead Man's Hand stack-evolution...

not in love with the straightforward nature of this deck frame.

and less than a week until showtime.

another day Agency, another day

so - deck list is done.
it has a hand full of weak spots, but it is something I have been wanting to try.

for the sake of not tainting the well of the Championship metagame I will resist posting the deck until after the event.
